Don Tkatch is a 15 year veteran in the field of gourmet catering. Don’s entrée into catering began in Kansas City learning the craft from the top chefs and directors of catering in the industry.

Don’s ambition guided his move upward to buying into, and becoming managing partner of, Catering by Weiss in 2002.

Don dedicates his career to updating the most current trends available in all aspects of the art of contemporary gourmet catering which continues the prestigious and prominent name that has always been associated with Catering by Weiss.

Micha Dahan joined Catering by Weiss as a partner in 2002 and brings 25 years of culinary expertise from South Africa, Israel and the United States.

Alan Weiss, the original founder of Catering by Weiss in 1979 continues on to be the innovator in all things current and present in kosher catering. Alan focuses on total personalized service, from designing menus, spotting trends, unique add-ons, to personally running and directing memorable events.

Alan’s philosophy is the following: You have 10 – 15 peak days in your entire live, your wedding or your child’s Bar or Bat Mitzvah is among them. Alan’s declaration is to create an event that matches this philosophy.

Celia Finkel is one of Baltimore’s first and most original kosher caterers who has served 3 generations of families throughout Baltimore and Washington, DC. Her personal flavor, refined taste and leading hand have guided more events than anyone in the history of kosher catering in this region. She continues to be a powerful force in all aspects of event planning.
